Just looked at the line -up and Yamaha isn't offering Power Steering on the 2022 Yamaha Viper LTX-GT. What a shame and a deal breaker.

Nice looking sled and great shock package but also disappointed that EPS is absent. Wife is Really bummed.

Why no power steering on the Viper?
That would be a huge seller!

It will probably be on the Viper next year, marketing 101! I believe they are trying to get every bit of profitability they can by offering a little bit every year. Just enough to keep us coming back.

Does 22 Viper have the same ECU?

Ski-Doo Renegade Enduro with the tuned down 900 ace turbo 130hp would be its direct competitor. Its listed at $15,599.00. The 2022 Viper GT with heated seat etc is listed at $14,599. Exactly a grand cheaper. But which one is the REAL value with basically the same Horse power. What about Weight? Any ideas? Turbo just equals more crap to go wrong right??? Snowmobiles are so much damn money anymore, nobody wants to do an impulse buy.

Yamaha and AC want you to buy SWs with eps more profitable for them. Always follow the money one model to mfg for both.

But the Sidewinder is just a turbo'd Viper FFS. This is the Apex / Vector groundhog day game. Next year it will be exciting new technology for the Viper. Good grief!

OK, the weights honestly surprised me. My 14' Viper XTX is listed as 518# and my Certificate of Origin says 516#. The Enduro Turbo 130hp is 552#, Enduro 900 528#, and the 850 2 stroke 519#. I'm curious to run against a T 130hp, my XTX holds off the 150hp version until 80 mph+ where my Backcountry X track really starts dragging me down.

I probably would’ve put down a deposit on that exact sled yesterday if it had EPS....

Because if the 2022 viper GT is equal in HP to the new 2022 Ski-doo enduro 130hp turbo (there are two ski-doo enduro versions now, 130hp and 180hp), why not buy the Viper for a grand less? If they are equal in HP, buying a non-turbo (viper) is just one less mechanical part to go out in the future and one less thing to have to worry about right? What does the Ski-doo give you for a thousand dollars more vs the Viper GT and is it worth it? Point is the Viper GT has a direct competitor now, the Ski doo enduro 900 ace turbo 130hp (which cost a grand more) Which one do you choose?why do you say that?

I thought you could get a base renegade for like $3k less with the 130hp turbo??
edit: just built a renegade adrenaline real quick, said $15,500 CAD. So $1k less than the viper...

Shocks don't even compare, Adrenaline's are not rebuildable, plus heated seat.I thought you could get a base renegade for like $3k less with the 130hp turbo??
