That gear will not work . It' the old style rexnord gear and won' fit the hyvo chain you have now.

Those are for the older cat models 2012/13 i believe...likely a POOR Material(sintered) and def not a Borg Warner, so you would likely trash your chaincase in a short time. I recommend not running that!

We had a guy try to use one of those, and what happened is he could not get the chain to fit, we were all baffled as the 22 fits with stock chain. So upon very very close inspection, we found the chain did not fit down perfectly into the teeth, we thought it was a pitch thing, but I now believe it may have been the diff between the rexnord NON HYVO style teeth and what our new HYVO teeth look like.

As has been said.

DO NOT USE THIS GEAR!
It is sintered, and it's not a Hyvo sprocket, its an old silent chain sprocket. You will eat up the gears and chain if you try and run it.

I also can't find any 22 top gear anywhere so I guess I will just run the stock 21/41 for this season.

Not to worry, unless you have the room and conditions and a tune, to run over 126mph(GPS) then you will likely not ever miss the 22 tooth. And the 21 will be more fun on trail and likely easier on belt(heat) and maybe a bit snappier to boot.

I plan to run mine stock for several weeks before I start to apply all the goodies....Got to ride mine finally yesterday, and bone stock this thing is just crazy impressive! Lexus like smoothness and quiet, YAM did one hell of a job on these sleds outa the box. Feels like a premium TESLA! And its a rocket!

If you don't have one now, you will not find one till Feb.

Check your PM Dan.

Thanks everyone for the response on the 1702-191 question.

How's the 129 transfer?

I ran out of gear on my stock sled last year without a tune. (21/41) I found a 22 top gear on eBay out of a xf9000 high country. But I can't find any more. The next step would be a gear set from Scott Taylor, which are bullet proof.
