3 gallons or less in your tank!!

i dont think it will pop out , if anything i think it would cut the wall of the grommet makin it 2 pieces , then that would be not good! i only think this because i added a gerry can tank to my gas generator and put this exact fitting in the bottom on the jerry can to gravity into the extenda run cap on the generator, and it split after a few weeks, i then put a bulkhead style fitting in it compatible with fuel much better , but there is no room to use that style on the winder
Lots more vibration on the generator?
Guy could replace the grommet every year for under a buck?

haha true! no vibration, it was installed on the reserve tank , on the sled i actually used the gromet in the top of tank the return did go to and used the gromet i ordered to put back up top n plug, hoping the stock gromet was better quality, that rubber grommet woukd be the only weak link imo but i did it anyway cause seems nobody had problems, just be nice to use a better fitting but limited space

I understand the apprehension on this grommet and it coming unbuttoned.. If you drill the hole of correct diameter 1/2" and your fuel tank vent is not blocked your good.. I had this EXACT feeling a few years ago, but after a few thousand miles it went away. I'm going to try this grommet I linked and just change it every year as wear item. I switched over to the metal 5/16 elbow but I cut it slightly shorter where it hangs into fuel basket. Its the same as the plastic in dimensions(now) only that its a 5/16 elbow . Ran thousands of miles with the plastic elbow with 1/4" fuel line.. I switched it out as I went up a tune and installed bigger fuel pump.

Email him….he got right back to me and he builds them to order. Got mine within 10 days.

Did you guys get this item?
I ordered one in the end of November and have not received it yet.
:dunno:
Yes, I got mine within around a week... but I am also only about 2.5 hours away from him.
