Gears are same. So with the narrower bearing the issue is the clip in chaincase. the groove in the inner chaincase must be in further. You are correct would either need the inner chaincase or make a spacer from a old wobble bearing.
I was thinking to keep 16 jackshaft and only replace the aluminium housing (on the secondary clutch side) and the wobble bearing with a 62206 bearing or 4206 bearing because they are both 20 mm wide. 30x62x20mm. The 6206 bearing in 17 Viper is 30x62x16 mm. I'm afraid 4 mm spacer will affect lubrication of the bearing?
That would work! Plenty of oil up there for a bearing. Go for it.

I'm running mcx 270 the last season with no problems so maybe new 30 mm jackshaft is overkill?
Only ones I saw fail it was due to the top gear bushing and splines getting buggered. Not going to get me to make that call though! Lot of motor you have there!I'm running mcx 270 the last season with no problems so maybe new 30 mm jackshaft is overkill?
I added a pic of original brace. It looks the same. Now I wonder what they changed?Nr 3 , housing, has a new partnumber on 17 Viper. Whats different from old one?

seams like the 9000 gear is wider, so bushing would be wider?
