I know this is not a ac forum but I was wondering if any of you are familiar with them?
1-can the primary stay on the motor and just remove the cover for cleaning like I did with my Viper? (just take the 6 bolts off and slowly remove the cover like the Yamaha clutch)
2- Any pointers for the secondary the helix doesn't have the bolts to remove it on the front like Yamaha (I'm guessing they are in the back of the secondary)
3- any surprises when I take any one of the clutches or is it pretty straight forward?

Thanks guys my wife likes ac so that's what she runs!( but it has a heart of a Yamaha!;))

Some of those tiny bolts were shearing off on those. Personally I would take them off and just stick them in dishwasher,Blow dry. Less you can do to them the better.

sound good! thanks:) Stupid question but do you use dishwasher detergent when running them in the dishwasher?

If you havent had belt issues my bet is they arent sticking so you got a good set. Wouldnt hurt to take springs off each and run them through the motions. Pay attention to the spider and pins. If bad just get the new Team clutches. Dont spend any $ on these.

They have been working perfectly still has original belt(will be getting her a new belt for the season) sled has 2000km now! It's my wife's sled so it hasn't been driven hard at all! I nick named her "grandma Angie"lol. Hopefully next season(2017) I could convince her to come to the dark side (Yamaha;)) and will get her a new blue one!!! If not then I will definitely replace the clutches with team!

Ha ha she is going to kill me when she sees me putting her clutches in the dishwasher!!

Ssshhhhh, your suppose to do that while she's at work!! Not that I have any experience doing that!;)

For the secondary, the helix Torx bolts are on the back side and are secured with Loctite so you'll need to heat them up with a propane torch so that they don't round out. They are REALLY tight also. Once you get the bolts loose there is a fair amount of spring pressure, so the job goes much easier if you have a long piece of all-thread rod, large washers and nuts to compress the spring with.

Right On big thanks for the heads up

Are you guys taking the secondary apart before sticking it in the dishwasher or are you put it in in one piece

Perfect time to do it tomorrow wifey is going out of town for a conference it for a few days

Anyone need to clean there clutches my dishwasher has allot of room and I have a new keg fridge with a full keg in it lol

Don't pull it apart just to clean it. If you do, you might as well put a clutch kit in to liven things up. Those bolts on the back of the primary can indeed be a bitch.
