As if snowmobiling isn't expensive enough now we have to pay to use the classified section? :o| I can see your point but I don't believe this is the answer.

Funny you say that. Most classifieds use to be "pay to list". Since craigs list open for free listings most other sites have pulled that option to force users to pay. Its only more of a good gesture for those that USE the site would give back to the site and in the long run would make it safer for some to buy. I am sure we at Totallyamaha can not make all of you happy and thats too bad.... :o|

I think sled runs a pretty tight ship here and it's a damn good value. Personally, I think he'd be well within his right to have an only VIP (for sale listings) classifieds.

Just my opinion. Feel free to rip away!

;)! ;)! ;)!

I know a guy that got screwed over on paypal on over a 1000.00 on some race pipes and paypal automatically took the money out of the guys account I know.

Pay pal has saved me the exact same way once. It was sweeeet! :-o

I have had serious problems with paypal also. filed a dispute, 30 days later they told me they couldn't help me. I paid a $500 deposit on a vehicle that did not exist because I believed paypal would protect me, they left me hanging. lost my deposit.

There must have been more to it to here, I had a pay pal transcation outside of eBay go sour once (for a few hundred dollars also), never recived the item, and I filed a dispute and after the time period ran they yanked the money from him somehow and gave it back to me.

It was slick other than it took like 30 days of aggravation. But in the end trust me, I was very, very relieved I used Pay Pal.

I thought that as long as u had proof for shipping as a seller that papal can't do that? That's nuts if that's the case no wonder sellers don't want to use papal anymore..

The guy got the stuff but happened to have some other pips that where almost identical and told paypal that they where smashed and wasn't it was his other set.So the guy i know lost his pipes and paypal took the money away from him that he got for them.

So basically your both saying that all a buyer has to do is say item damaged or wrong and papal takes sellers money and buyer gets all with out questions.. something just doesn't make any sense with that as if that was the case anyone who buys anything would complain and get free stuff all the time. not saying anyone's lying, just saying there must be more to the story..

I have to agree.... there is something fishy here.

it has something to do with the credit card the buyer uses, paypal will not stand up to a card company, or at least I haven't found a way to make them. I am not patient enough to play the game, if I could get my hands through the wires to strangle, that would work for me. maybe things have changed, hasn't happened in a few years. another starnge thing that happened last year is, I sent a request to someone in canada for parts I was selling. I shipped the parts and 2 days later the money disapeared, called paypal. the card company took the money back as fruad protection and because I checked services, not goods, they would do nothing for me. luckily the buyer was decent and resent the money.point is that as a seller paypal and ebay take nearly 15% for absolutely no human services. to top it all off, buyers can only recieve positive feedback. so they are all 100%. so no way to know who's a dirtbag. dont believe me if you want, but I have alot of experience with paypal. bought my xtx and my rhino with my paypal card, so obviously been moving some money through the account.
