Just bought a 17 winder with a TD 290 tune and has the 2.5 SQ muffler which is a little to loud for me. I would like something half way between this and stock. I have the EVO on my viper and that is perfect. Give me some good suggestions that won’t hurt the performance to much

I have a chance at a EVO magnum, I think that’s gotta be quieter than the 2.5

Agree on this choice. I love my TD stock mod 3 inch muffler. Very quiet, but a deeper tone down low. I do not like loud and this is perfect IMHO.

Hurricane quiet trail muffler is nice and quiet but loud enough to notice that something isn't stock, deep tone at idle, love mine with the 270 ss tune

My dad has the TD 3" stock mod. I have the TD 3" super quiet. Super quiet is quieter.

No drone on either muffler. I originally had the TD 3" Intimidator. Ridiculous drone. No drone at all on the 3" SQ or stock mod. Sound is subjective, but I definitely notice a "slightly" throatier, more aggressive tone from the 3" stock mod. Still an overall quiet muffler.

I was told by TD that the 3” stock mod is quieter than super quiet. I was thinking the super quiet was gonna be what I wanted, now not sure. I don’t want stock quiet, I would like just a little quieter than the turbo force 2.5 with little or no drone

I know what TD says too on the subject. After hearing my dad’s stock mod start and ride a hundred times, in the trailer, on the trail, on asphalt and concrete, in open fields, in the woods, left side, right side, etc., and hearing my two SQ’s start and ride in the identical conditions, all I can tell you is there is a slightly perceptible throatier tone from the stock mod than the SQ.

I've had both. Stock mod is a little quieter than SQ 2.5. BUT....the SQ 2.5 makes more power!
