Srxspec said:For the Stage 1 you're looking at 3-4 sled lengths faster and Stage 2 being double that. The biggest gain is ease of adjustability, backshift, and low and mid range acceleration. You're going to see the gain from 0-100 mph or roughly 1000 feet with the top end pretty much staying the same as stock. Might see a couple of MPH more because the clutches will shift out further, but will remain real close to stock.

Thanks for the reply. I should have looked around harder to find the other post that would have answered my question. :?
Look for my Stage 2 order! I have too many buddies with new Apex's this year - I need an advantage!

Do you have any info on the attak kits. you just mention the apex kit or are they the same kit for the attak and apex.
It seems the supertips profile looks a lot like the HH, just different placement of the add on weights.
Thanks

Matt, the Attak & Apex kits use the same components, just slightly different placement of the weight on the weights themselves.

Allen, just to make this clear, you only have a stage 1 and 2 clutch kits and NO stage 3 kit, like on the RX-1.

Rotax!, you're correct, only a Stage 1 and a Stage 2 for the Apex because it already comes with the small 14.5mm rollers from the factory where as the RX-1 didn't and we had another option for a kit to include those as well.

Hi allen, now that i have some real world miles on my attak here is what i found.. First it is all stock attak and on semi packed dry snow it runs wot right to 10,000 and shortly after that to 10,500 in like 1/4 mile, now it is stock,BUT i adjusted the transfer rod in so i have very little transfer,as i prefer to drive thru a turn rather than push and brake thru it... On plowed road w/packed snow underneith it will overev to 11,000 unless this is normal,if so is it still in anykind of powerband at that rpm ??? I am going to as mark if he will take in my 60 supertips in trade for the new style that you have in your clutch kit,you gave me some info before, and i will contact you by pm to consult w/you on this later.. Have you found the speedos to be very far off on the 06 compared to any of the other rx1s mine is either way way off or it was track spin, speedo flahed 128 and gps never went past 109 all day yesterday, before that 123-125 was best speedo and gps 108 any ideas allen,as this is not very fast gps top end,but the mid and bottom feels really sweet.. Pete
