Simply put Allen, can we add both the plugs and air box mod to our stock Apex's and not worry about them blowing up over a long run across the lake? I purchased your stage II clutch kit plus gearing last year and was impressed. What is the turn around once you recieve the bottom of the air box?

The CR10EK plugs and the mod air box will be fine for all types of riding. As soon as we get the prefilter material and finish the first set of boxes we have most will ship the following day we receive your air box. I'm just waiting on the prefilter material to finish up the first run and start shipping them out.

Allen.
When you say the only way to get gains with powercommander is to advance timing is it complicated or is it simple to do

snolover, a timing key is not too hard. I would suggest doing it when you have to make an oil change as the oil tank has to be slid out of the way to get to the mag housing cover and pop off the flywheel, install keyway and put it all back together.

Has anyone seen added timing make more "peak" hp?
Generally added timing is torque, down low, where the doesn't rev.
Many bikes benefit from 4 degs advance, but that is because you are driving at the lower rpm ranges where it will be felt. However, the dyno usually shows a drop in HP up top, or no gains!

Added timing with stock air box showed 4-7 hp gains from 6,000 rpm to 10,000 rpm and 3-4 hp gained from 10,000 to the rev limiter over stock.
Our air filter kit with added timing showed a 10 hp gain from 6,000 rpm to 10,000 rpm and 7-9 hp gain from 10,000 to the rev limiter over stock.

Do not just put a timing key in. You will also need some sort of fuel controller to adjust the fuel and also 91 octane fuel as well.

Dynarex, I used the powercommander for fuel adjustments. I do not believe they are readily available yet.
Also the prefilter material just showed up today!!

Air boxes are being machined and beginning to return ship them.
No updates on the powercommander and filter kit at this time as there is no stinking snow to test on.
