I agree, I stayed with the 2.52 pitch for the same reason. I still have a slight vibration, I have moved shock mount and added small idlers inside the rails. I personally believe it's track tension. I may be too tight, I have loosened again and want to try on weekend. Vibration is minimal, but there must be a solution?

no its not ratcheting. i have 7 tooth anti ratchet drivers. The mechanic who installed it said that the Drivers will vibrate until they are broken in. The vibration IS coming from up front, for sure. Up front where the track first hits the rails is where i feel the vibration is coming from. I will get some bogie wheels put up there and see what happens.

If you guys research the wheels anymore and find a good deal on them please post it here. I have been wondering if a guy could pull off one of the many aluminum cross tubes between the rails and somehow get wheels to bolt into that up front?? Should just need to get a wheel size and maybe make some small outer bushings for between the outer rail and the wheel and longer bolts?

I just put a pair of 2-3/4" idlers (old ski doo) on the support with a aluminum sleeve over it for spacing works perfect. Can send pics if needed.

I remember in a post in the RX forum, that Thrusted Vector used the little wheels from Phazer with the cross shaft and mounted it on his MSRX and fit perfect.
I like the anti-stab idea...I will get some (if I ever find a M7 141 skid...still hunting). I have speared two tracks in my day and it wasn't pretty. Once I flew over the bars and the sled ran into me from behind and almost ran me completely over. Last spring I was flying down the lake about 180km/hr with my SRX and speared the track on deceleration (lucky I wasn't going that fast at the time).
Another friend of mine speared his brand new 144 track on his MM700 going wide open. He is lucky he was on the lake and the track split in two....he coasted for the longest time without brakes.
Anyway, the shallow angle of the rail tips on the M7 skid look downright dangerous!

I don't perceive any vibration on mine. Maybe I need to be more attentive? I do have the front idlers on my sled.
I wonder if there is some type of bulbous shaped deal we could mount on the front of the rail to prevent any track piercing issues. I still have an aluminum one in a box in the gargae I built for my Exciter.
Aaron, my Arctic Cat dealer (it's weird to have one of those) can't seem to find the part number for the small black idler wheels for the front of the rails.

I checked out the pics of the anti-stab wheels on www.hiperf.com that Aaron posted about. Look good and designed for the M7 rail tips. Seem expensive, but cheap track insurance (not to mention life insurance).

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I pulled two of the cross shafts from my M7 suspension a while back (when I put my Zero Pros on). I pulled the one forward of the front shock and one behind the middle shock.
So far so good. I was jumping quite a bit too with no evident ill effects.

Yea, I thought they were a little expensive too. That is why I might just try the crossbar thing. I will let you know what I come up with. Lee, thanks for looking for those wheels for me. I have the rears coming, but they could not find the front ones either. They couldn't even find the black ones you gave me the number for. Might be off of an older sled or something. Sometimes I wonder about these dealers??
