Asphalt Results "2007"

Tyler it must have stock clutching too because that's a firecat skid with a narrow track and prostock front shocks.Hell my vector ran 11.10

Well I had a pretty good test & tune session yesterday! It was 88*F and the Density Altitude was anywhere from 4,000-4,400 feet. I'm not going to post the reaction times. I've gotta change these new skis. They're not breaking the beam correctly and no matter what I tried to do I was either way red light or just way late!

WIR Racing

Had a great day Saturday up at WIR in Kaukauna, WI. I met up with Terry and he graciously offered up his Attack to me for the day.

To sum up my day....I sucked, sled was awesome! 20-30 mph headwinds during time trials. I was running 10.35's with his sled. First race, dialed in at 10.32 because wind was gone. Ran 10.88 or something because the N2O bottle was empty...whoops! Baught back in, full bottle, tail wind...and all hell broke loose.

I finally got my act together, had a 1.49 60' time, sled was absolutly hammering! I was so far ahead at the end, I let of with about 150-200 feet left. Guess what, I broke out by almost 2/10ths! I woulda broke out by about 1/2 a second if I stayed with it. Ran a 10.121 with a 10.32 dial in.

Terry is the man! He was a great host, introduced me and my friend Paul to some great people and we had a great time. His day didnt go so well...probably somewhat due to all of the distractions. Luckily, he is racing again today and hopefully will do better.

Unfortunately, Ryan didn't make it...Where were you ????

First pic is me, second is Terry....notice the tree in Terry's pic!!!!

Wayne

P.S. My new Avatar pic is sweeeeeet! (If I do say so myself...lol)

I was in the garage all day helping my brother on his firebird. We are taking the ac off and the manifolds and putting on some headers.I was there Friday night.I was going to come down to but they where calling for rain all afternoon and night well it never did just a coupole minutes, lol

I wish I would have went down there because I wanted to help him with the jetting actuall the night before it was a little on the lean side and Terry was going to add soime fuel saturday. We where starrting to make some headway Friday night buit there was no traction at all because it was high school drags. We dropped 2 1/2 tenths friday though.

Ran at ESTA today. Didn't make much progress. Ran a 10.95 and 11.03 in trials then first round of elims went 11.17. Wind and weather were a big factor. I wasn't really into it either. Met nyattack as he and his buddy were there today. It was nice to put another name and face together. Porbably taking next weekend off and I hope to get out to another test day soon.

Terry,Ryan, drop some more fuel out of it, that smoke is rich....call me you guys and let me know whats going on, you have to be my eyes so I can help. 330-448-8796
