Here are some pics of new bell crank bushings installed and where I put the grease fitting.
Since I am doing other work on the sled the steering stem was removed.
its a must to drill out the bracket on the steering stem lower mount to get the bell crank out of chassis.

Looking to do the Mainway products all the way around on new sled.. Getting ready as I have all the "stuff".. Anyone have a link for the rivets(stainless) you guys used after drilling out old ones? Also a link on the grease fitting.. Drilling and tapping for this fitting in Location shown by Inc2000? Wondering if anyone had any tips or details on this front end steering MOD.. Thanks

It's a pretty straight forward install. One tip would be for the steering arms, loosen the nut at the bell crank and I mean just crack it as to not move it, just enough to remove the arm from the bell crank heim joints. This allows you to get very close if not right back to where you started with toe in/out.

Oh and a good rivet gun, the single one hand guns are OK but a 2 hand one would be highly recommended.

Is the location working out for you? And I'm assuming the grease fitting is standard size?I bought a tap and drill bit combo for tapping out for grease fittings.. Size is on the package.

Replace the upper steering stem bushing with a billet one with brass bushing . Now would be a good time to do it since the stem is out of that bushing for this install. OFT racing has them and Ulmer has them as well.
