Question.
So should these motors be broke in before installing the mpi turbo ?

I am
Aware that you will have to fine tune clutching after break in. But is it best to get 5-600 miles on sled first and the install kit ?
Or are people slapping these on brand new and adjusting fine tuning in time?
Thoughts. ? Please.
And can these get fine tuned by just running them a few miles out of box ?

Yes people are putting them on at mile 1. Just have to be sensible on breakin. Turbo probably would seat the rings fast but either way true breakin of engine, clutches and rest of drivetrain takes almost 1000 mi and some people say more. I would expect a little clutch tuning along the way but nothing that would ruin a ride in anyway.

Me i waited until 1000 km! Anyway the kit was not in at the time..... Respect the break-in!!!

Yup. When I broke mine in I rode a area where there was no choice but to follow those recommendations. Helped me resist temptation! Tight hilly woods trails.Perfect for having a Blast and breaking it in right.

Even stock! That is ALWAYS hard to do....loool

Whit stock clutch i feel the engine " over rev" so stay realy polite whit throtle..

We waited a little over 300 miles before installing the turbos for breakin and because I wanted to feel the real time difference before and after turbos. Very capable sled without a turbo and wow what a huge difference with one. Lots of fun ;)!

I have done 3 sleds from brand new without issue and I'm putting an Mcx 190 on my 2016 right now. Either way watch your gauges on your first outing and I always mix some race has in on my first tank and it's saved my motor a couple of times.

Yup the turbo has nothing to do but help during break in. There is no reason to wait. When you buy a turbo XF 1100 they don't say go ride it a bit then bring it back!!! Just follow the break in guide and change the oil and filter.
