For those who've made a custom exhaust for their Phazers, I was wondering a few things:

How did you connect to the stock header?
What was necessary to keep the canister centered?

The reson I'm asking is I've fabricated a few hangers to support a Vance and Hines Slip on pipe from a CBR600 on my phazer, but have yet to tackle the problem of plumbing the exhaust pipe..

You connect to the stock header with a OD over ID slip flange.

I used a Supertrapp from a FZR600 and it fit like a glove. Nice stainless midpipe, and stainless T bolt clamps VERY high quality.

I think I paid 100$ for it on e-bay - Brand new, clamp on installation.

Not 100% necessary to center it. ANY pipe for the FZR600 will very easily fit a Phazer, and they are VERY cheap compared to the Uber expensive kits that are being sold right now.

Not sure, but I'd imagine this post will get deleted. So save the pics if you want them for future reference. The big guys don't like my exhaust for some odd reason. LOL
