If you don't have a blow off valve upgrade, don't bother with a 3 bar. If you have a bov, a good idea is to add 3 bar as well. You can still run blow off on max spool 16sm without a 3bar though.
Reason for the 3 bar is the tune runs 16.4 to 17.0 of boost right near the limit of the stock sensor. For better control.
Thanks for that explanation! Yes to BOV upgrade.

I have some time on Max spool 16 SM now and figured I’d share what I’m running. I’m running the ts bov, TD cai and 3 bar. I’m seeing psi spike to 19-20lbs then settle around 17lbs give er take.
I sure love the quiet of the stock muffler but the front end squeaks drive me nuts lol.
As far as clutching goes I’m running the dalton black/teal primary spring with the dtya1s empty. First gen dalton black/orange at 3-3 with a dalton 41/35. Pulls real hard, still need time to fine tune top end rpms but I’m very close. I’m really surprised how cool the secondary is. I can hold my hand on the primary for a five count. I may try the stm 60ys again to run more heel weight.
My offset is 60.65mm. I haven’t measured center to center. I’m going on 5000 miles, most of it tuned. I do not have belt issues. I have 2500 miles on my current belt. Going to change it just because.
I’m going back to stock gearing soon and am considering the storm 150 track for next year.

No CAI but very similar here. Stock 35º helix and DTYA-1 empty. I feel I could use a hair less weight maybe because of the 1.6 track. 62.5 mm offset and no belt issues.I have some time on Max spool 16 SM now and figured I’d share what I’m running. I’m running the ts bov, TD cai and 3 bar. I’m seeing psi spike to 19-20lbs then settle around 17lbs give er take.

Same tune here, except modded stock muffler, tried my dtya-1,s empty, just to heavy for any real rpms, lightened them up to 73.3 still,to heavy for my set up,so I had to swap back out to my stm,s set up the way I had them set up according to ulmer for my old evo stage 4 tune. So I had already lightened them up by removing one 7 grm tungsten from the tip,and replaced it with 4 washers on one side and left the tungsten on the other side of tip,mid empty, and heel one washer on each side, runs great, pulls 8900 no belt slip anywhere, but it has his owne brand primary spring,blk/pink close to stock winder spring, and stm 38 with cat white at 9-1 for now,but I still have his owne version of red cat secondary spring, that I used to run at 0-1 and it ran real well and cool clutches to touch. Now I will lighten up the daltons some more yet,and retry it with allens primary spring, and try my Dalton 41/35 with either Dalton new blk/orange at 80 or his cat white at 80-90.I have some time on Max spool 16 SM now and figured I’d share what I’m running. I now have over 1,000 miles on Max spool 16, all with same belt XS825, TS BOV, CAI, so far sled runs awsome, Thunder products clutching, orange primary, orange secondary AT 3 - 1, 33/35 TP helix, TP rollers. Goes to 9100 then settles at 8950, the acceleration is real strong. My clutches are only warm after a long WOT run on lake but i did add extra venting on clutch side and exhaust side panels. Thanks to John and Terry at Thunder Products, they gave me a set up which was very little weight change from my original Big Venom kit and sled is right on the money.
