Differences between engine ECUs?

I managed to destroy my engine ECU due to stupidity during fault tracing of my fuel pump relay. So I need a new, but what are the differences?

2007: 8GC-8591A-00-00 (with cold start problems)
2008: 8GC-8591A-10-00 (with cold start fix, I have this one)
2009-2010: 8GC-8591A-20-00
2011-2013: 8GN-8591A-00-00
2014-2016: 8GN-8591A-10-00

I have a Venture Multipurpose but it has the same ECU as Phaser RTX, thought I might get some more answers here. Does the newer 8GN work on a 2008 that had 8GC originally? Any improvements worth the extra cost?

Pretty sure the 2011+ ECU have the "improved" low oil pressure shut down system, I'm not sure if those sleds use different sensors or not, 2010 and older should interchange though.

OK, they have the same oil pressure sensor but I will play it safe.

Just as a note, the newer ones it uses one extra oil pressure sensor.
