Pricey up there for sure! I can do two for less then that here..lol
I should make a whack of kits and sell em haha
On ebay I dig up all free shipping vendors on the elbow and the silicone connector.
But I also have another route I may go with silicone elbow and a 15 degree alum connector. I just am waiting for my sled to arrive before I decide.
Also I have dug up some vehicle intake kits, which have 2.5 piping and filters and the vent nipples on them for 35 bucks only...would be easy to mod them into a CAI for SW dirt cheap.
If you guys are in no rush, i will surely post all my stuff up but cant do a thing til I have a sled here.

So true....And I ride up north, so you see me often doing all my buying in the fall here at home before I head north. Free ship and no tax on most everything online, hard to beat.
And when you guys try to buy stuff down here, you get whacked with exchange rates too.

Is your tubing 90 degrees?I built mine this summer. K/N 20* offset 6 inch tapered filter mounted close to the frogskin. I have the outerwear for it also.
I understand its less expensive then buying one. However I would imagine the tuners are testing different configurations and how that effects the AF ratio's. Based on design I think that could have an effect as well as how the air is injested into the intake. Is your tubing 90 degrees?

I'm running this one. I thought about building my own as well but my buddy who builds these did all the R and D for me. It's made from 6061 polished aluminum, heavy duty clamps, k&n filter with chrome cap. Air still gets to the clutches (more than with the stk config that's for sure). I'm not here to peddle it just voicing my opinion. After all that's what I hope I joined this site for. Cheers.

That's a nice piece! Looks like it'll flow good, plus the whole one side of the filter is exposed to the opening.I'm running this one. Yes it does flow well. It's an actual CAI not a WAI (warm).

TD dropped their price to $199 CDN so I snapped one up with the 10% discount on top of that.

Nothing wrong with Ben's CAI either. I'm just really impressed with the quality of this piece and the results it gave last season.
