I have been running these for a couple years and now I want a lower engagement. Do I just use the black spring that comes with the kit or is there a oem spring that works good to. Just looking for a good starting point. I have these in my stock 06 attak.
Iam running this set up white spring sh 4.6 c 5.2 od 3.2 tip empty.

Add another washer to the arm. It will drop engagement a couple of hundred more & give better initial belt squeeze.

Is there a chance of overloading the arm with too much weight

i'm running the stock yamaha springs you can lower the engagement, makes it easy to work on the sled, no high pressure springs to deal with. runs dead even with friends sled with ulmers kit.
