Don’t forget that shaft is identical in every dimension to your tie rod! Crazy that that’s in there. End of my rant. Just a touchy subject with me since I snapped mine!

Ya I hear you on the "Rant", I remember your post on how you had to repair your tunnel etc. (Sorry to bring it up again) but I like your idea with the straight edge (nominee for mechanic of the month with that trick) saves a ton of time rather than pulling the skid plus it's a good method through out the sledding season if the shaft is suspected to be bent.Don’t forget that shaft is identical in every dimension to your tie rod! I'm going to look into that RR shaft
Thanks again Steve for your help.

Which year RR shaft is the heavy duty one? 2017 and 2018 RR's use the same shaft as all the others.
Right. They are wannabes now. 13 is for sure heavy duty.Which year RR shaft is the heavy duty one? 2017 and 2018 RR's use the same shaft as all the others.

Ya my LTX LE sidewinder was supposed to come with all the RR shafts but that never happened from factory, luckily I have a great dealer and they stepped up, I got them the numbers for the RR shafts, they ordered them and installed at no charge.

Thanks Cannondale, I found your post in the viper section with the part numbers and ordered that stuff up. Now I'll finally have the RR suspension that I paid for when I spring ordered this LE.Right. They are wannabes now. 13 is for sure heavy duty.

Most critical parts I'm aware of are the front cross shaft and the center shock axle-shaft. These are the part numbers, arctic cat numbers for the RR parts you need for these upgrades. (courtesy of Cannondale in other post)
8408-051=Bolts 2 needed
3604-791=Bushing 2 needed
3604-711=Front Arm axle 1 needed

Post is here, page 3 a ways down is where these part numbers are found:
