How did you anchor it out near the knob? I looked at putting it in the same area, but didn’t have a good idea for a rear mount at the knob.

No anchor at the knob, it all about the 1/4? straps to hold it down and into the light socket.

Now I think I see it. You used a second 1/4” collar right down near the headlight. Did you just use a sheet metal screw in that location?

Also, are you worried about the knob end vibrating and rattling against the hood panels without support out there?

Yes a small Sheet metal screw. I also made a plastic spacer washer form the big zip tie to go between the nut and hood or cowl.
