We got about 6-8 inches of heavy wet snow here in Marquette last night.
Trails were still pretty good this past Saturday....then it rained over pretty much the entire UP Saturday night.
Road shoulders, and plowed sections of trail are going to be the trouble spots.

Weather Underground is calling for a possible 7-9" by Wed morning for Munising..hopefully a little extra snow and the cooler temps will take care of any bad spots

Are we all in second grade? If you're gonna be friends with Billy, then you can't be friends with me!

Hey Bob, they got quite a bit more then you did over west of 553 - 14" or better, and up by the Yellow Dog they got even more. I was at Marquette Mtn on Saturday and they avoided most of the rain until Sunday. Friend in Big Bay said they did get quite a bit of rain, but it turned to snow on Sunday. Cousin near Sands just said they got well over a foot and more expected this week. Should be great riding. I rode Newberry, Paradise, Grand Marais on Thu - Fri and the groomers are doing their finest grooming for the late season riding (mostly locals and themselves). Was planning on leaving my sleds up there and joining this ride, but all of them are falling apart. They all got to come home today.

National Weather Service is saying 3-7" tonight, hopefully that will help out.

I didn't go home, went to Ishpeming on Sunday, heading back to Munising this afternoon. We got 4-5" of snow last night.
