I saw Pat's change oil in sleds and they did the same thing. Had the sleds jacked up on one side and thats why to blead out air.
I was wondering why they were doing that....
Follow those steps if they didnt take the oil pan off, you should be fine.

Will do, out of town tonight but back on it Sat, I will report back. Going to dump a 1/2 qt through the head to make sure it has plenty of oil up there and it runs into the pan. Hopefully that takes care of it. What a bastid!

Well I put in 3/4 qt through the valve cover, let it sit with the left ski 12" in the air over night and nothing this morning. I tilted it way up and held it on its side for 5 minutes and tried again and nothing. That return line has yet to spit anything out of it yet.

Thinking of something like this to place between the oil tank and oil pump and see if I cant pump oil through the engine with it not running and just make sure there are no blockages.

have you tried to dismount oilfilter, and put some presure in oiltank? so you have seen Oil coming out from engine? Re-assembled oilfilter and put some pressure again?
That helpt me out when i mounted my turbokit and i had same issue as you.

So you took off the oil filter and pushed oil through the system till it came out? Then you installed it again and added pressure again?
Do you have to drain the oil pan before removing the filter?

i didnt drain oil pan, just remove filter and add pressure, make sure you got oil in tank ofcourse, when oil comes out from filter-place just mount back it and add pressure again for a few seconds.
i did like that and than i Fired it up and hoped to get oil circulation and pressure, and it worked!!
i ran it for a few seconds than shut it down and filled more oil until i had oillevel.
if you add pressure in tank like that with filter removed you will problebly hear "blurp" when air get out, thats a good sign.
if this doesent work i would remove engine and have it checked by someone that has done it before to make sure it is OK.
you have ran engine without oilpressure many times now, and it aint good at all. if you dont have oilpressure within 5sec it wont come after 20...
Best Luck!

Thanks for the help, I just popped the filter off and blew 5 psi into the oil tank for around 10-12 seconds and I heard lots of burping and bubbling but I got NO oil out of the oil filter location. There is oil there when I pulled it off, but not like when i changed the filter earlier and it made a mess all over the place.
How long did you hold pressure on the tank before you saw oil? Thanks!

I got nothing, I get a lot of burbling through the crank case vent hoses but no oil out of the oil filter location. Probably been blowing air in it for 20-30 seconds now.
It also has near 4 qts in the engine and the tank is showing below "E" again. Where is the oil at? When I started it was over full in the tank so the engine took almost a whole nother QT

Well I got nothing out of the filter location.
I'm done...

Just a thought. If you blow air in and same time turn engine around from clutch (some help needed). This will move oilpump gears a bit to allow oil go through better?

Seams really strange that the dealer never touched the oil pump an its not pumping. I personally have never read about an oil pump taking a crap.
I would think doing those steps....oil filter off, oil in the can putting pressure in it and nothing out the filter area, Then having a second person spin the motor by the clutch it should push oil out the filter area. This would tell me if the pump is spinning or not. Never done it but makes since to me.
Jesse, Paul comes through there alot, load that sled up on his truck and send it over. I will work on it for you. Otherwise talk the wife into coming and we will send the ladies shopping for some r&r while we tear it apart and fix it. I am sure someone on here will send us an oil pump to swap out just to make sure it isnt that.

you should b able to unhook the coils and spin the motor with the battery. Just be easier. Maybe we need a road trip. Lol Maxdlx
