No this isn't a scene from Saving Private Ryan.
It's a typical OCD weekend in Maine!
I will be posting threads on some of the madness.
I tested all 3 makes of belts, met some new TY friends, fixed a sled with a hardware store bolt, blew up my clutch & gave a girl with wet feet some wool socks and a plastic baggy. After all, a fresh sock in a wet boot is still a wet cold foot. I carry plastic bags just for this reason.

OH, did you see how i wedged that exploding clutch in there? It took out my secondary also.
As they say in Maine, "It's all stoved up!" It's all good though. I have TY friends offering help already.

I did get some good data on the belts though.

Never a dull moment in OCD world!

Steve, You haven't spent enough time in Maine, because as they say in Maine....."It's come all uncunted" !

I just started to move from a stop then i heard a pop then a bang.
Thought a blew my first belt of the year which would throw a damper in my belt tests.
My belly pan has literally NO belt dust.............but now a lot of Aluminum.
I'll give a report tomorrow. Phone is dead & so am i.

It's tiring being me! Ask TOMBSTONE, BAYDOG or SAB1. I met them this weekend. LOVE the TY peeps!

The pics OCD sent us earlier for those that want to see them. I hope he's cool with me posting them.

As can be seen, it looks as though the roller, shaft and bolt are not there. Where and how did they go missing? It would appear the roller and shaft went AWAL somehow, letting the weight rip itself free of the clutch. Bolt break on the axle? Nut not on tight? Spider is still all intact. Did the pounding from the miles run break the bolt from the Yamaha winder primary "rattle"?

Are roller axle bolts now going to need replaced along with roller changes to prevent fatigue?

I think a stock Winder is all these clutches can take. For those who have big tunes I would think a clutch update is a good idea.

I knew i could count on TY to break my balls................and make me feel better! Thanks Don
As KNAPP pointed out, there is no roller or bolt & it wasn't smashed out.
I made a separate post of what i think happened.
