I rarely ever get a good used snow flap plate which is why I make my own heavy duty ones. We also put a return on them to help angle flap away from track. I'm guessing the $35 one you are referring to is mine! Ha

No. $35 for a new OEM one. I was going to buy yours but my buddy had an extruded aluminum piece that attaches where the flap does on the plate, spaces it out 1", and adds the angle like yours. I am going to run that piece. I was able to straighten out my stock flap plate enough to be usable with that extruded piece.
