Thats all they do. Just a flash. Normal. If you want to test one of the lights like warning just disconnect a sensor such as MAP. I wouldnt bother. If it flashed its good.Tried just a few mins ago. My temp light and high beam light do not light up at all apon turning ignition on. My CEL light and low fuel ever so faintly, and I mean faintly flash for like a millisecond when turning ignition on. Is that normal or no? I don't remember my lights ever coming on with the ignition to be honest. Is there something I can unplug that will immediately illuminate my CEL?

Same thing here on my 2016 Ltx-Le but I have found that we don't need to wait for injection cycle ending before to turn the key... Now it start like my video everytime!

First start of the day you should wait for the fuel relay to do its cycle or whatever it does...Rest of the day you shouldn't have to..

I'm not going to flash my 2015 LTX Viper...it always starts with less than a second of cranking and it idles pretty darn smooth. It's also has never kicked back. There has to be something other than the ECU mapping that is making others Vipers start and idle poorly..

Sounds good. I will also post up once I get my before and after videos compared!

This is the original ecu. Never flashed. I've only had a couple hot start issues. If the new one doesn't start the sled better I think I'll leave well enough alone. No kick backs.

Well turns out I'm crazy. This whole time I was thinking there was a CEL light, 2nd from the right. Then I remembered that is for the engine oil....duh. I fiddled around with other sensors and had the codes flash up above the fuel level meter. Though the O2 sensor unplugged does not seem to be throwing a code, there is still voltage going to it through the 4 wire plug.
Also, I've gone through my videos the last few minutes and I can't personally see a difference in AFR #'s from before and after, while idling. Once we are able to get some snow time I'll be able to get a better reading since I keep a recording of my AFR#'s through out the winter when I'm fiddling with the GEMS and what "level" each stage of the GEMS is at.
I've had a few stumbly and even dieing cold starts since it's been home in the garage (NEVER did this before the new flash). If it dies, you can hit the key again and it instantly starts and runs. Engine hot it starts the exact same every time (couple revolutions then fires and idles fine). It will be interesting to see when the engine is cold (-10, -20, -30* Celcius) if it stumbles and dies like it does at 15* Celcius.
I'm going to let it get cold again and try cold starting without letting the ignition cycling to see if that makes a difference.

Sounds good idling but how about around the 2700 rpm range? Check out how mine runs at that rpm- http://www.ty4stroke.com/threads/viper-engine-tune.135771/
Any of you that have had the reflash run better at this ~2700 rpm area? Video would be much appreciated.

I have the soft start spring on mine plus I run the 8dn high on the Secondary I engage somewhere just above 2500. I do go very easy loading my sled in the trailer and I'm sure I have hit that stumble rpm range. But I do not remember anything bad.Sounds good idling but how about around the 2700 rpm range? Thanks. I've read that the soft start spring does help this and I've considered trying it but mine has a bigger issue of the tune (my opinion) being so bad it sometimes fouling plugs on a hot start. 2 dealers couldn't help me so far and it has left me stranded in the woods. I'm hoping the reflash will resolve this. If it doesn't, this will be the last Yammi for me.
With this reflash, I see some are reporting cold starts sometimes take 2 attemps to start, which wouldn't bother me too much, but has anyone noticed if there sled has an improved high idle around that ~2700 rpm's? Anyone notice better or more consistent AFR's?
