My 14 Viper XTX keeps loosing air pressure in the rear fox float 2. I have to stop every 40 min and pump it back up to 125 psi. It drops to 70 psi and starts to steer like an old Mac truck. I am considering changing it out to a spring shock. I have never been a fan of air shocks had them on my F8's and always thought the non sno pro sleds rode better.

Put a new valve core in it or spit on it and see if it is the source.
Soapy water.

Still under warranty right? BTW when you add air on the trail you must make sure you do not add any snow/moisture into the shock as you can freeze parts of the valve core and make them leak. On my Nytro I replaced a valve core and did not work I had to order the valve core assembly and replace it then everything was ok. I take special care to make sure no snow contacts the pump hose or shock valve when adding air now!

I had to replace a schrader valve on my 09 Nytro because it was leaking down.$20 and I was up and going.

I think I fixed it. I used some lock de icer cleaned out the valve with air and pumped it up to 130 psi and it seems to be holding went for a 2 hour ride and all is good. Now my next problem. Whats the deal with all the steam/fog coming up through the vent between the gauges and steering post when I get into the deep snow?

Install the goggle bag, replaces the plastic screen and will redirect the airflow. No more fog/steam.I think I fixed it. The Arctic Cat Sno Pro's come with them from the factory.

On our Red Viper I reversed the fan wires so the hot air blows out not in. Works for us but the usual disclaimer do not try this at home.....lol.
