So I had the Apex upside down today (track check) and notices all the front suspension bushings are really worn. Who make a good aftermarket replacement kit for these? Ulmers site says they are no longer available.

It says he's out of stock not that there no longer available.I would call the shopto see how long there out.maybe they haven't updated the site yet.

Thank you. They posted in teh regular Apex section they should be ready to ship at the end of the week. Anybody know what the deal is on the OFT steering bushings?

Heck yeah... I know about the OFT bushings.

I just changed my pathetic, worn, sloppy, piece-o-junk, plastic bushings on my steering system with OFT oilite bushings with aluminum milled blocks and dont why I waited so long!

It took up so much slop in my steering system it was simply amazing and for the price of the three OFT bushings you cant go wrong.

They were a little snug when I installed them the first time, so I pulled them back off and added some grease to the flanges of the steering stems where they were rubbing on the aluminum blocks...problem solved, smooth as butter!

Went for a three day weekend ride and loved the new feel.

Now for some snugger tie rod/steering ends and oilite bushings through the rest of the system.

OFT's web site says they are down for awhile.

Ditto on the OFT bushings...great product.

What is the answer for the slop in the shaft that runs down the right side of the sled by the oil tank. The bushing near the foot well is junk, is there a replacement availabe for this, other than stock?

Hey guys, i"m having the same sloppy arm problems. I need to replace the bushings. Where do you get these OFT bushings? How do you acess the nuts insde the bulk head? Thanks Steve

I accessed mine through the rubber boot where the tie rods come out. Pretty straight forward just be carefull with the oilites when you put them in. I had a buddy break the flange on his when he installed them.
