Man I wish my riding style would let me get 18! All last season I was getting around 16 on an average.

Wow. The worst milage that I ever got was 17 out of my very first tank. I ride the snot out of mine. Nice to know there's folks out there that rag on their sleds worse than I do.

Yeah we ride on the "edge" most everywhere we ride but I think mine is getting worse mileage due to the Flo commander on the main jet. I am throwing so much fuel at it kinda feels like a big block with a huge cam at idle. (Doesn't like to idle very well at current flo commander setting) . I am surprised to see the number of people getting 20 or better. I'll sacrifice the gas mileage for the performance gains tho!

I dont get that great of milage the way I ride either...maybe 16mpg ...but I do ride very hard! I know it would do much better at a steady 35-45mph

Believe it or not, you can go over 35 mph and still get 20 mpg. ;)!

Vector with 2480 miles getting 18 to 20 easily every tank. Also love the oil comsumption like zero. Put about 2 ounces of oil in after the first oil change. Love them 4 stroke. Funny after switching to 4 strokes I can smell two strokes on the trail. Can"t believe how bad that oil smells!

My average for the season was 20.2 mpg for 1600 miles. I found it depended on riding. The harder you rode the more it used. Never went under 18 or over 21. It also depended on snow conditions. In good cold conditions (-10 and below) it was better than at anything above 0. These are celcius degrees of course as all my riding was done in Ontario.

well i got 21 mpg steady when i rode, i just rose the trail speeds up in canada with a few open her up bursts on the lake, could not WOT her because there where atv tracks on the lakes that froze like a rock

ya 18mpg
