Haters be gone!

I bought a 2014 2 years ago, being the first model year and all and have had ZERO problems. I own an 2009 Apex as well but love the Viper more from the ride side. I would, without a doubt, buy another Viper.

Best sled ever!

I have 2700 miles on my 15 LTX with not one problem. Wife has 1000 miles on hers and loves it. No haters in this family. Would buy again in a heartbeat!!!

Have a 2014 LTX SE. put 1500 miles on it last year. still trying to get the suspension to where i like it. No fault of the sled, first longer track i have every owned. last trip last year we did 780 miles in 3 days and hated to have to come home. Best sled i have every owned.

I glad I seen this thread , i been looking at vipers and vectors. I think i like the viper better to be honest I am scared to buy one with everything I seen on this site.I really want one of these sleds.

Don't be afraid of it. If you're getting one new just get the extended warranty and drive the crap out of it.

Great post, I am tired of hearing about all the negative about the new Viper. I have purchased a lot of new sleds from different manufacturers and not one of them had zero issues. I've had no issues with my Viper. Put the turbo on and have looked after the bulletins. Except for reflash. Never had an issue so didn't want to fix what ain't broke. I bleed Yamaha blue.

Just a personal observation.......it seems to me that a lot of the biotchers expected the Viper to be an Apex beater right out of the box and it was never intended to be......in the ride department, yes, but not performance or top end........and they can't help their heightened expectations..........

Personally I bought mine used with barely 1000 miles on it and I have more than doubled that and extremely happy with the purchase.......next......

I purchased a used (1500 miles) viper xtx last February and ended the year with 3200 miles. It was the best sled i have owned, but i wanted more power so a turbo was added. Just shy of 5000 miles now and can say it is the best sled I have ever owned. Speed, handling, and ride are great. A few minor problems but nothing to complain about. Great sled on and off trail.

Watching things from 1000' up I agree with Buddah.

Glad it's not just me who was getting fed up. Agree. Repeatedly vent elsewhere

I've had Yamaha's all my life starting with a 1972 SL 338. I now have a 2015 SR VIPER STX DX with a Push turbo.Due to lack of snow in Central Minn I only have 50 miles on till next weeks trip. The sled is beautiful and handles and rides like a dream love it.Going with 2 new Renegades next week, can't wait.

We ride with a regular group of about 10 sleds , mixed group with doos, cats, pols. Out of that group 4 of those sleds being vipers, we all love our sleds and all agree there the best. I'm happy to say there is not any haters or negative with the guys I know, even with the guys that ride other brands, however I am pretty sure the Yamaha guys always have a bigger grin when riding :D
