Reflash is free. Get the rpm's up and a stock viper is a true 80 mph sled. A stock new Apex is a true 90mph sled. The older ones with short track were faster.Stopped by the guys house that I bought it from and he gave me all the stock primary weights and the stock secondary helix. Im going to install a new set of ngk iridium plugs and take it out and see how It feels before I go back to stock clutching. So if I contact my local Yamaha dealer they will reflash the ECU and replace the Tac for free under the recall? Or should I be prepared to owe some money?

You would be correct. The key word being “completely”.I dont think Cannondale's sled is completely stock...

Yup. Try me. Remember yours must be stock.
Yours is not stock.. none of my stock Vipers could touch my 2011 Apex... dont tell these guys that crap when its not true. Most stock vipers cant even hit 90s. And for me to race you, you would have to have 2 people on to match my weight. You are like 90lbs.

Bring your new Anniversary stock Apex and I will teach ya a lesson buddy. I pick my races carefully and you have to read what I say. 2011 is not a new ApexYours is not stock.. none of my stock Vipers could touch my 2011 Apex... dont tell these guys that crap when its not true. It will be in the trailer, its geared to maybe do 85 with a big #*$&@ track on it. I would never race your sled.. you are not stock and you are small. I will put Steph on it if you like and you can race her if it makes you feel better. The old Apexs are just as fast.

Where in any of these posts on this thread has anyone said anything about a new apex. My original comment was about a 2012 the OP had before his current 14 viper. I had a 12 xtx and you just rebuilt my 10 gt shocks. I can assure you both my apex sleds were absolutely stock other than replacing worn out tracks, belts, wheels ect. Now if your not stock and have performance mods, trying to mislead me then that’s a totally different conversation we should have over beers lol.

Your right the new Apex XTX with that 1.75 back country is slow as #*$&@. Love the track for hook up but OMG does it kill the top end. I would never race another sled with our 2018 Apex XTX, its a beast and slow in stock form.

Well I guess the best way to prove it, is to bring it up to the Giveaway Ride and run it. I would not race ours.. with my big #*$&@ on it, its slow.
