-31f in Valdor this morning. Sled started hard. I let it warm up in trailer. When I backed it out there was a puddle of oil under the center of sled. Don’t think it’s leaking now. It’s not the oil tank gasket!!!any thoughts or has anyone had this happen?

That’s what I was thinking. I gave it some gas to keep it running while cold and think the oil was too thick and pushed out the gasket, then when warmed up it sealed back up. Hopefully it holds up.

It might pay to check the machined surface where the oil filter gasket seals on the block, also. This happened to me, oil filter gasket.

I've seen this many times now, especially when cold. Even though the filter is tight, I give them a little more, and never see it again. I believe they have all been Yamaha oil filters. I just use k and n now.
