On hard pack warrior jumps out in front and pulls away fast. I have tried letting strap out, full transfer, soft fra. Need help will a clutch kit make this thing run in loose snow? Have been beat by cat 800,f7, 700 poo and once by a 600 poo. thanks boone

Boone just my 2 cents as everyone could tell yoou some thing different but contact Matt at the Speedshop.com and ask him. I puchased his stage 2 kit and have some other slight mods and can get away from almost anything. He is very well set up and you won't be dissapointed.

Black 1000 when you say you can get away from almost anything is that on loose snow also. thanks boone

I don't know what type of track your running but I'm running a camoplast 9830 1 inch with 144 1.175 studs. It hooks up very well in hard packed and ice. If your racing people in loose snow you will need larger paddles.

The RX-1 sucks in snow. You will lose an easy 10 mph vs. ice or hardpack. The attack angle of the track is too steep and the sled doesn't respond well to resistance. Just the way it is. The only real way to overcome this is to change the skid or get a turbo. You can clutch it all you want but in snow you won't beat the other big iron.

Buckeye thanks for the input, thats what I kind of though, because like i said in my question on hard pack it runs away from the viper but on the lake it just beats it by just a little. The viper has a m-10 on it. Can I change the attack angle on a 136 pro-action ? thanks boone

The angle on the Warrior is a little better than the shorty. Most of the relocation kits I have seen are for the shorty. Maybe Mountain Perf or Hartman offer a kit to reloacate the skid on a warrior. But that would necessitate a longer track. You could get a shorty skid and then do one of the relocation kits with your existing 136" track. I bought one for $250, barely used. I didn't do the relocation because Mtn. Perf didn't have all the parts available and I got tired of waiting.
