how to get hotgrips hot fast

Assuming the calculation someone else did is correct and these "warmers" will now heat to over 190 degrees Farenheit, those of you who are doing this mod want to be real careful who is on and around your sled.

That can cause a burn, potentially a serious one.

Sounds like it might be a good solution if it is in the hands of the right people.

Sounds dangerous in the hands of the wrong or young people.

Certainly not something Yamaha could recommend or build.

LOL..are you serious?...they are the way they should be now..exactly as hot as ALL yammies of OLD used to be....when i say BURN i dont litterally mean BURN..LOL..they just work!

good working grips do get VERY HOT..but when you ride and have thick gloves on it take alot of HOT to make your hands feel warm.

for the 3rd time this year i'll be changing bars back to the old 06' ones, man i hope this is the last time...thanks again Dan good work

I found if I used to ride my buddies old SRX, I would 'burn' my hands when we swapped sleds since my warmers were always on low, and his on high.

I could never ride his sled with the warmers on high, which I assume is what Dan means by 'burn'.
