set your parking brake..loosen the roller pin set screw....take a box end of a combination wrench to the helix bolt...push on the wrench and the helix will start to move (twist) to relieve pressure....hold with pressure relieving to do the swap....now the helix is off the roller and the pin can slide out...out comes the roler....in with new roller...back in pin....reinstall set screw....loosen brake rotate clutch...repeat process
or you can pull the clutch...pull the helix and work at your leisure.

Thanks SJ I have a set of torlons on order. If my dealer will replace with those they can do it. If they are just gonna put OEM rollers in I'll do it myself

From cat. The part number is listed in the thread about the flat spots. Ulmer also has an improved roller available I believe

Thanks steve. Have to go to cat tomorrow. I'll see if they have the rollers in stock. If so, I'll grab them.

pulled clutch off but not apart. hardest part of changing rollers was cleaning the red loctite out of roller bore so the pins would come out.

Who said the stock ones were supposed to roll? they are merely round sliders, they have to 'flat spot" to wear together evenly.

You're joking right.
the whole idea behind the rollers is to let the clutch open and close quicker/ faster without friction so it back shift faster. If they weren't supposed to spin or turn then why would they use rollers instead of the regular slider buttons?
