I put in the 240 Hurricane flash with weights and a BOV , all rest stock .I recently messaged them on this and awaiting a response. I looked back at other posted threads and cannot seem to find the answer.
My understanding is the 225 Flash will run stock everything. Will the 240 Flash run stock clutching with the stock muffler as advertised? If not then the Bundle/Cluster is 225/240/270 will require clutch work then, but be a better bargain. I only care for the 240 and hope stock clutching is enough.
It comes down to best deal. I cannot alter the muffler in NH so that limits me. Now the rest is just in the above questions for me to decide on.
Runs good .

What kind of speeds and performance are you getting? If you have had a chance to try it. Did you use dalton Qay 70's?I put in the 240 Hurricane flash with weights and a BOV , all rest stock .

Not on engine temperature but exhaust temperature, I had stock eco tune with stock muffler and always got very hot. Could see and feel the radiant heat coming from sled after long pulls. It also blew black smoke every time opened it up .

So I'm interested in hurricane 240 tune, wondering if it similar or is approved over the eco tune. Curious as I've heard good reviews on this tune.

Hurricane 240 has more power than the eco tune. And it’s even been improved for this year with the SS(Super Spool) Tunes now from Hurricane, which are even more aggressive than the previous 240 tunes from the past years.

I run TD Max 16 with TD header and stock muffler and don't notice any more heat than when totally stock. I do have more venting on exhaust side and a lot more venting on clutch side to get more cold air in and hot air out from engine compartment. What kind of speeds and performance are you getting? If you have had a chance to try it. Did you use dalton Qay 70's?

Got out today with 3 other guys all different setups
-Mine SS header pm bundle (240/270/300)
-one guy had the SS stock muffler bundle(3 bar and turbo smart bov)
-one guy with the 240 pm flash with stock map sensor and Bov
-one guy stock with a hindle muffler
All tunes we ran were flawless and pull hard!!
I did some live data recording with my data logger on both tuned sleds to dial in the clutches
The yamaha 240 pm tune with cai, stock map sensor and bov is around 75 grams with qay70 running 8800 /8900
The thunder cat with the SS stock muffler bundle 225/240/270
We did remove some weight to get him to 8800
He end up with a 1/4 inch slug in each of his qa2 76 weights
(Clutched for 270 tune)

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the 240SS tune require a 3 bar, where the 240SM tune does not?

Not sure if 240ss needs 3 bar, as just installed that tune and no mention that I needed a 3 bar? Hmm

But SS Tunes can be SM too.
