Hurricane turbo review

Thanks Cdale, that's exactly what I did. Wired in a thirty amp sealed relay and inline fuse to the pump. Mounted it in the back by the fuel hat. Used the old pump wires to turn on the relay, works great. Then I was able to put the 15 amp fuse back in without it blowing.
Stain that tiny connector used to have 7~8 amp draw, the bigger pump pulls 13 amps idle and 18~19 @ full boost, I would say it's way over rated capacity, that's why it got hot.
Cool! I figured you would have. There is always some slight danger and risk in everything man made. One guy accepts the risk vs a relay failure and another wont. In this case slight risk of a overheated wire or connector in system or slight risk of a failed added relay and even more wiring with potential failure and a long walk if cant be fixed on trail. Even in OEM vehicles this is the case. Camry is a good example but I have seen it on everything. Enjoy the ride Clutchmaster. Merry Christmas!
