OK, I give... Went to put on the nice yami hand guards I bought. Not fun! Managed to get the throttle side done but not the brake side. Whats the deal? Seems if the brackets are not exactly on the straight part of the bar they won't go on. Am I missing something?

Trim the nobs off that have the little holes in them for the zip strips, ( just use a hack saw blade and trim them flush, I colored over the trimmed area with a black permanent marker as well just to keep the color the same, Install your guards and you'll be good to go, I can send you some close up pic if need be, but this is a pretty easy fix, others have been doing the same thing as well

what nobs are you talking about? I just put the yamaha guards on my attak and did not need to cut anything.

I hated cutting plastic off a new sled, but it is worth it the guards sit flat and don't go up on an angle...
