Hello I am in process of installing my efi belly protector and I cannot get the lower caliper bolt to thread in properly and think it may have stripped
Are these just for the tunnel protector or are these actually holding in place also
The top one goes in no problem

Well if I take the extra thick bellypan protector off I can tighten it in like it was without the protector but I must have stripped the first few threads on the caliper

Yes I thought about that i am really curious how important these bolts are?Get a little longer bolt ?
They seem to just be holding the caliper protector on
For now I ditched the efi belly protector and put it back as normal and I think I was able to get that bottom bolt back on I just didn’t tighten down to crazy in fear of doing more damage
