I'm sure Chris from Yamablogs reads most of this.......maybe he can chime in on why this changed......their best calibration from testing I guess, would be interesting to know anyway FWIW.

We will have adjustable transfer blocks. The kit will include 2-bolts, 2-nuts, 2-transfer blocks, and an allen wrench for adjustment. It will retail at $60. Just waiting for the parts to arrive.
Position 1 = 1/8" less transfer than stock
Position 2 = 1/4" less transfer than stock

Thanks Allen!
And that is what Yamaha should of done from the factory!!
Once these are installed you will need to 're-tune' your rear skid.. as it stiffens the rear up quite a bit on the smaller bumps.... (because the rear couples much sooner in it's travel)

Late testing might have found the anti bottom blocks were bending the torsions or causing other problems???ReX said:This is even stranger.
I decided to have a look at the official US web site for information on the Nytro RTX's suspension (trying to see a picture of what Yamaha is actually selling since the Canadian web site isn't showing what is actually being sold).
The main web page detailing the Nytro RTX rear suspension is here:
http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/sno/s ... _tech.aspx
For some reason it doesn't show any weight transfer limiters at all, but it not only shows the anti-bottomers (as the spec I previously read did too), but it highlights them, points a big arrow to them, labels them as "feature E" and states that they are "anti-bottoming stoppers".
Again this is the official Yamaha web site and this web page is detailing officially what Yamaha is selling currently.

$60.00!!!! I'll just get some Cat blocks w/ the hardware for a third of that price!!!
For those of you that put in the different blocks did it stiffen the ride? and could it be that without the little brace behind the stock block would cause the rail to crack or bend?

I removed mine completly, pulled the front strap up & its working great. I still have a slight push in the tight corners.Anyone try the duallie's yet?? I know in most cases duallie's are known to push but maybe with this sled it just may work??anyone try them yet?
Or you could support the guys that help us get our sleds to performe better!skyboz said:$60.00!!!! I'll just get some Cat blocks w/ the hardware for a third of that price!!!

I know!! I'm not trying to be a dick, but come on!! There is a difference between reasonable and rip-off!! IMO! Allen has provided us with tons of great info, including myself! I'm not trying to bash him either..........
Anyway, the blocks do feel like they have stiffened up the back a little, not much! I have my limiter strap pulled up one hole, compression is 3 clicks ccw on the center shock, 6 clicks ccw on the rear, both rebounds are 12 clicks ccw, and the torsion springs are on med. It feels really good, maybe a touch too stiff. I plan on messing with preload next! It tracks straight and handles the bumps with ease!!

skyboz, by the time I buy the blocks, machine one side to match the stock coupling distance and assemble them that is what I have tied into them. I am currently backordered, but hope to have them available again later this week. Either way the coupling blocks are needed.

Rode my RTX Nytro 700 miles w/many adjustments to spring tension, and limiter straps.
I could not keep the skis on the ground, corners were exciting!
Removed factory weight transfer blocks and replaced with blocks of Polaris Edge. The black blocks bolt on w/yamaha bolt, and allow for 3/4" less transfer, and also have 3 adjustments by turning them.
Made all the difference in the world.
