How to get to the ECU on the SR Viper:
#1 – Remove the 2 side panels. Take the hood off by taking out the 6 screws, all T20 torx head screws.
Follow the link below for Hood removal and pictures.

#2 - Next to come out is the airbox, take out the 2 torx screws holding the radiator down with the aluminum bracket.
#3 - Now remove the 2 torx screws at the bottom of the airbox, below the radiator.
#4 - Loosen the 3 air intake tube clamps, unplug the sensor wire, pull out the 3 breather lines (1 aluminum tube, 2 rubber tubes).
#5 - Using gentle force, you can remove the airbox by pushing the radiator hoses over and wiggling the airbox past them.
#6 - With the airbox out, you can clearly see the ECU on the inside of the engine compartment by the front suspension.
#7 - Remove the (4) 10mm nuts that hold the ECU in place. The bottom ones are stinkers.
#8 - Once the ECU is unbolted, the clips holding the wires have a lever that is held down by a plastic clip…this must be pressed in order to use the lever to remove the wires. Using the lever, lift up and the lever will release the wire plug. There are 2 wired plugs on the ECU.
Pictures or vdeo to come…..will update as soon as I can.
