i never noticed the weight of my nytro till i got it stuck bad, but at that point any sled has an extra 100lbs of snow in the rear suspension, tunnel, running boards, etc. so they are all heavy.
my biggest problem was that after the track and turbo my riding buddy couldn't get to me when i was stuck till he upgraded to his modded rt1000
even with the turbo i got the same range on the trail as stock, just keep it out of high boost and its all good.
i'm buying another nytro as soon as i have the funds (need a new truck and having a son soon so that may take a while)

I don't ride like Burandt, so the weight was never such an issue. I like to climb and side hill mostly. I tend to stay out of the tree covered hill sides mostly cuz i don't want to wad my sled up into a tree. I know that can happen on any hill though.

True enough, but those tough alpine trees seem to be very magnetic......and unforgiving!! How did your surgery go?

So far so good on the rotator cuff surgery.... kinda pain full though. I think it's gonna kill my riding this year. Thats why I sold my sled and am researching new sleds for me. It's not gonna be an easy decision though. I hope the therapy will get me back on top by spring.

Good to hear. Keep researching and see how the recovery goes.
