Has anyone tried running there ltx with the transfer limit shaft removed? I already have the blocks removed and wish it had more transfer.

I am looking for that answer as well, might have to take it out and and see how much more transfer there is without over extending the shock, look's like there's just enough room to clear the back wheels.

I may move the shaft back 5/8" and extend the flat plate that acts as the stopper on the bottom link. I think I pull the suspension and check clearances. It just doesn't transfer like my apex LTX LE did.

It'll work with the shaft right out, I tried it on mine and wow did it pull the front end, but it also had negative affects on top speed so I run just the shaft with no blocks. The key is the rear shock setup, after I got my rear shocks setup properly it was much better, enough transfer to make it really hook up but still maintain ski pressure when trail riding so it would still go around a corner.

I get a some transfer, skis 4" off the ground but can really get the front up over the rough stuff like I want. I have the blocks removed but would like a little more.

I have run mine for the entire season! SKI DANGLER! But yeah it does have a bit of an adverse effect on cornering. I'll be shaving some off of the block. to get more transfer and go from there. I will say it's really fun to ride with it out![emoji23][emoji1319]

Could also run the Cat dual rate heavier spring like I do. It will lift front end! Your limiters are all the way out hellflyer? Like said by Studroes rear shock is key. I can fix it! $75 till end of April for revalve.

It's the qs3 in the rear and limiter all the way out. I just think the geometry doesn't allow enough transfer. I lifted the front with my forklift until the transfer locks up and the skis only come up a couple inches.

Ok yup the Qs3 has correct valving. Go for it!It's the qs3 in the rear and limiter all the way out. I just think the geometry doesn't allow enough transfer. I lifted the front with my forklift until the transfer locks up and the skis only come up a couple inches.

OK! Had some time this afternoon and the shop to myself and went for it! Took 1 1/2hour even though I jammed my mig welder part way through. I removed the outer wheels, spring tension then lower link and transfer shaft. I had al the same thickness metal so cut it out and welded a 1/2" extention on the lower link. With the block on the shaft on the lowest setting I get about 3-4" more ski lift. Only mod to the rails was drilling another hole.

This seems interesting, I get what you did by drilling the new hole just not sure what you meant about welding pieces on?

It definetly lifts the front end higher by 3-4" before it stops now. That's with the track flat on the ground and lifting from the front bumper with my forklift.
