So I finally got to test my MPS prototype for the 09+ Nytro. I had the 08 version installed in fall, but ended up parting the sled before snow came. Buddy and I put 45 miles on the prototype yesterday morning. Stopped at another buddies house that has a Nytro and we jumped back and forth between stock and MPS and the difference is night and day just like the Viper/Sidewinder Kits.
Beings the 08 spindle is different, I'm hoping I can come up with a design that will work with both versions to keep costs down for the 08 owners.

I think I might need one when available. Or two.

Anything that helps the heavy steering is always a good thing.

Following.
What is the cause of the heavy steering?
My '09 RTX came with an OFT re-locate kit, I run tuners w/ 4" carbides - Wife's XTX just has a 2" LE bar riser, same ski set up, minimal pressure and it still steers real hard.
She likes the no effort of mine, was going to do an OFT on it but will definitely stay tuned on this.... Thanks Travis

Steering post angle plays a big part in it. You're steering on more of a horizontal plain then a vertical one. Steering relocate pushes the post upwards and makes it a little more traditional type steering. It's all about leverage.

I'm interested also, mine is an 08...
I have some jre spindles I was planning on swapping this summer to try. Would them spindles be OK? as far as I know they use all of the other stock front end.
Any idea when kits might be available?

Kits will probably be available mid summer. The linkage arm will be shaped to fit the stock spindle so not likely it will work on aftermarket spindles.

The jre spindle will lighten your steering, very surprised by this when I installed my set.

I chased the heavy steering on mine for 3 years .Have the OFT. Tried woody's duelies, nope .Tuners with different carbides ,nope .Relocated the skid, helped the ride but did notthing for the heavy steering.I put Snow trackers on as a last resort before I gave up on it.Can not believe how hanging all that hardware on the ski's transformed my sled like it has power steering.

Travis sounds great. Do you have any pics of the Nytro version? Will it fit a mountain tech 43+2 front a-arm kit with stock spindles?

Saw your thread on MPS for the Winders and thought I'd ask if this has moved at all?
