They could, but I would certainly never require a customer to take to that route. I stand behind what I sell and would make it right. I had 2 more ends on my shipping table ready to send out if needed. Turns out Epicsw just needs better lights in the shop! Ha.

Never a doubt! I do in my business too when something does not go as planned... and it does.

If I can I sometimes make minor changes/modifications on my own without expecting others to jump through hoops. Often don't even bring it up. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff!

It is always good to see how eager vendors and forum members alike are to assist!

So....if I can design a product that will make the Sidewinder feel like it has power steering how much interest is there??

I finished up a prototype yesterday and have started testing it. I'm testing it with curve skis....and steering effort is a breeze! I've developed a lot of products for yamaha sleds, and I'm really excited about this one. I think it could be the game changer that pulls my father away from his EPS apex. He's going to ride it tonight and see what he things! Will update after more testing!

Just wondering how this has worked out and a price Thanks

Travis,

Can you comment on the reason for a replacement outer tie rod with this kit? It seems to me the OE tie rods would work. Puzzled...

The oem tie rod ends would work fine, however they are not drilled for cotter pin.

The oem tie rod end uses nylock nuts. Nylock nuts loose their hold strength every time they are threaded on and off. Beings the kit is adjustable and the nut could be potentially threaded on an off several times I was concerned of a nut coming off, so I opted for castle nuts and cotter pins.

Makes perfect sense... Thank You!

I am really interested in this kit. Coming off a Apex with EPS. Any real world experience out there???? I must say I have heavy steering on my 2017 LTX Sidewinder.
