For those running the kit what positions are all of you running it in? Are the 3 holes needed? Expanding concept to other models and wandering if I should stick with the 3 positions of adjustment. My father and I have nearly 1000 miles each this season so far and we just run it on the easiest setting.
So maybe a btx kit in the future?

I have rode 600 miles and have it on the easiest setting.

Im running in the middle hole on my 14 viper LTX. reduces sterring effort for sure but it seems like you have to turn the bars farther to get the skis pointed to where you want to go. With the bars already on the long side, when your leaning forward riding hard it becomes a little cumbersome at times. I will try the closest hole to spindle on my next ride to see if this reduces this effect.

Pilot 6.9's with 7.5" carbide. Soft up front, soft rear, med/soft center with 1.5" threads showing and mine steers and handles/steers like a dream. I wouldn't pay for the extra expense or weight if Yammie came out with it.

I've only used easiest setting too. Will have 2,500 miles on MPS by next Saturday and over 6,000 on LTX-LE...

Cheers all fellow Winder owners!

Put a few miles on my sidewinder ltx with the mps kit installed, I can now agree with travis in that it makes a big difference in how the sled handles. I can now ride with one hand on the bars and not have to be afraid of it going off line. Thank you Travis for putting your time into thinking out of the box and making these sleds handle better.

I just got home from my last ride and had it set on the first hole. The hole closest to the spindle. I loved the kit at this setting,it steered more like stock meaning better turning radias and less handle bar through then the other settings but with a decrease in steering effort. this is the spot for me for sure.

I’m looking into buying a BTX/MTX of some sort... I primarily trail ride so I know I would want MAS mechanically assisted steering on the new sled... can’t wait to start venturing off trail tho!!!

Glad you found a setting that suited you. Just curious...what skags are you running on your curves? I did my initial MPS testing last year with curve skis and ran it mostly in the easiest setting. Just wandering if you are getting some push and that's why you are needing to turn the bars more.

Travis we did 317 miles yesterday, me on the sidewinder and my wife on her Polaris pro s 600. The MPS kit was one of the reasons I'm able to ride as much as I do.
Thank You

And an incredible wife that will ride 300+ miles.....unheard of. I just did 4 days of 2-300 miles Ana sure my wife would NEVER. Even consider it. You are a lucky man.

My wife and I can not believe the difference it makes on our sleds. At first my wife thought the steering was loose because it turned so easy on the trails and thru the corners. It turns out the sled was handling so good and turned so easy it just felt loose at the handlebars. We have a lot of tight trails in Michigan that get beat up with moguls because of so much traffic. The steering is so easy it allows you to stand up in the moguls with minimal steering effort. MPS is a winner.
