I would be very interested.
Can someone explain to me how much effect the Apex Powersteering has at speeds over 30mph? Just asking since buddy with Apexes both with and without cant tell the difference when going faster than that.

Hard to describe! The faster and harder you're cornering the more you notice the difference. Just riding fast with not much tight cornering will show little differen. Also PS alowes you to tune suspendtion for cornering and ride instead of trying to make steering light. One of the biggest things for me with bad shoulders is vibration and feed (shock) through the bars. The faster you go you get less assist but you're generally not moving the bars lock to lock or nearly as aggressively.
On the bikes and Quads we add a steering dampner. That would do everything you describe EXCEPT make it easier although it may feel like it.Hard to describe! Yes, On the slower tighter trails the PS is near effortless though. After recent conversations with Yamaha I think it's safe to say it's going to be up to Travis! LOL
Just curious, have you ridden a sidewinder yet? Zero vibration with these winders. These things really steer effortlessly if it's set up right.Hard to describe! Yes I have and they are not as smooth as the 4cyl and PS. They are smoother than a Viper! Plenty people that have ridden Winders are on the fence because they don't want to give up there PS! Probably just buy a Winder some day!

I am interested to see this. Anytime yoiu can lower steering effort it is worth looking at. Especially at lower speeds.

I am interested the no power steering and the fact that I hear it wont lift the skis at will are the two things holding me back from getting one. (The third was I was hoping for a turbo version of the apex I think that is not going to happen)

thor I see you have a WRP seat on a 12 Apex. Does it raise the rider height enough to straighten your knees out? I'am 6'. I thought about doing the seat and keeping the Apex a little longer?

yes it is perfect I have 2.5 pivot riser as well only issue is windshield is no longer effective. also if you want to keep the stock look see about just getting the foam from wrp it fits under the stock cover if you have a few miles on the sled.

Being my MCX Turbo Apex is a fair amount quicker/faster than a stock Winder the only thing I would be gaining with a Winder is seating position and ride. After the Winder is set up to transfer it will likely not corner quite as flat so with the seat on my Apex and not loosing PS, It's a tough decision at this point!

loved mine with the SC till the SC let go also if you want a heated seat I added a car seat heater kit to mine while the cover was off I like it allot. if my SC would have held up I would not even be looking at a winder it was perfect.
