I had the exact same thing happen to me last year, My SC let go and I ended up with a Sidewinder, I miss a lot of stuff from my Apex and the EPS is a big one.

I don't have a lot of miles on mine and I shouldn't even say it but my Turbo has been flawless so far! 15mpg is no problem and can pull 17 if I stay out of boost. The power it makes at only 5lb boost is near unbeleavable!

I noticed that very same thing... really want to power through corners to keep the steering feeling lighter. Sled requires a lot of rider input to make it do what you want. At times, it's great and very fun... but, at days end after 300 miles, it can be tiresome. Still think some steering assistance would be welcomed. Coming from an Apex with Power steering...Not the case for mine, I did check that when I first heard about that on a post from Someone on here.
Mine is much better since I changed suspension settings but it still steers hard once you let off the throttle for turns. So the trick is to try and power thru turns a bit if they aren't too tight, but by having the limiter out all the way one can only use that trick on longer sweeps. So yes to easier steering that way you can set this sled up to rock around corners suspension wise!! Have curves with 6" SJ.

To answer the initial question: I have a ton of interest in anything that helps the steering get close to my 2011 Apex as I just put the deposit to trade my Apex for a 2018 S-TX DX 146 and I am nervous to leave behind the power steering. Keep us updated we are interested!

Dont be nervous.. my SW was a tank on the skis when I first drove it and now with proper set up, it really hard to tell it dont have Power Steering. I have 2 EPS Apex still and my 130 lbs fiance can tell the difference unless your crawling thru the woods and even that is minor.
Overall I am really curious what Travis is going to bring to the table to improve them.

Very interested!
Agreed MR. Sled. I"m more interested in seeing how this works out. That said, I think the ability to really crank up the ski pressure might come in handy.
Don't be nervous. The SW feels more nimble than the Apex. Weight is better balanced.
Motorhead, not to steal Tavis's thread, pilot 6.9's and lots of other tweaks. Quick search of "setup" and "transfer" in this forum will help you out.
PM me if you can't find what you're looking for
