Just found this. First of all I have a great time riding ANY trails. But I know that most would turn around and go back to hotel within 30mi. I am not a grooming expert but have groomed trails for over ten years. What I witnessed when I did see the groomer at peak time of about 3:00pm was pathetic. The 1-3ft moguls were there and the groomer was operating way to fast and only cutting about 6 inches off the top of each mogul. I was waiting for someone and in the 5 minutes I waited after groomer passed 6 snowmobiles went through. The first 3 were sitting down. By the 4th they were all standing up because the Moguls were all right back to size before grooming. The groomer must go slow and they need to use the front blade to cut the moguls right down to the bottom pushing snow to side and back in with the wing. This probably needs to be done at night. It was not. In morning the trail looked smooth but the whoops were still under a very poor effort to fill in between them. If this is done the moguls will not ever get to big for the groomer to blade through in one pass. I did not know Foggys was anti snowmobiler. What happened there?

Here is the best way to look at it... expect the trails to be crap when you go to Muni, then if they are not.. we will be much happier in the long run... LMAO

I have been thinking about that a lot lately but since its so deep into the season I will leave it as is and rethink this for next year based on the grooming thus far. I figure I can always trailer out of the area and still fill Angela's Hotel.. since that really cater to us on TY.

I have a simple solution for these situations...I patronize those that welcome my business and pass by those that do not.
