It’s really hard to tell because I jump off the SW and ride it for 20 min hahaha
I could tell on MtCoolers 7000. Faster acceleration unless he did something else to it that he isn't saying. You know how buddies are.
I and he are hesitant to come to conclusions on starting because he has a broke tether plunger. Once would not start at all and once it started but sounded like only on one or two cylinders. Popping even. Could be switch. We both agreed much better acceleration to the point of on tight trail he had to be more careful.

What are you thoughts on this flash with air box mod on stock machine? Is this flash leaner?
I would bet on it. Remember we are on mildly tuned 4st. Just watch coolant temp. If its running hot when never did before you can bet your lean. My afr guage died on me. Innovate. So not getting flash till I replace it.What are you thoughts on this flash with air box mod on stock machine? Is this flash leaner?

I have the air box mod but stock exhaust. getting to flash next week but worried about being to lean. right now my plugs are nice golden brown.

I hope it's tether as i had problems with it before. As the way sled is after flash it does start better (coldest start so far was 17 degrees F) and idle is smooth, performance wise it has better throttle response just picks up and goes without any hesitation on take off or comming out of a corner. MPG this is same ridding with cannondale27 we are alway a dollar or two one way or the other. All around just makes it alot better sled to ride. Will repost after new tether is installed and more miles ridden. Hope this is the one!

Confirmed. Use key to switch on and off and it starts first try every time. Not sure what leaving the kill switch on and the dash alive has to do with it but it does. Maybe fuel pressure bleeds off

I logged 60 miles here in northern lower Michigan and didn't notice any difference in my engine temps. I have airbox mod and ulmer can.
So far so good with flash. Starts well and pulls hard!!

No fuel controller for me.
Stock machine other than airbox mod, ulmer can, clutch kit.

Thats good to know. So do you think its more responsive? No fuel controller for me.

It felt really good but I also added igrip studs (200) and a gates carbon fiber belt instead of 8jp so I can't really isolate the impact of the flash only on response.
Overall, the maching was snappy today!

I had the new flash done yesterday and rode 107 miles in the Black Hills today. It starts and idles like my Nytro used to. Overall operation from start to full throttle feels "cleaned-up" and just runs like it should. It was in the 40s today so I'm not sure how it'll be when colder, but I think they've finally got it figured out. It only took them 4 tries over 5 years, but glad they finally have these things running well. Maybe Textron brought some new engineers in?

- Yamaha Viper XTX LE Mcx Turbo.
Yamaha Sidewinder XTX LE Maptune stage 3 fastspool.
well, just tried the new flash, on a standard Viper the startup is very quick, smooth idle., i feelt that the trottlerespons had more crisp response Way better!
On my turbosled the same thing at startup and idle, but my turbo ”mcx” starting to backfire when i let the trottle off., i think the new map is abit leaner. But i have to do more testing to be sure.
Done some more testing this weekend, and the new flash runs perfect with the Mcx 190Turbo.
A/f is around 12,1-12,3. Crisp trottleresponse.
But it is a little bit hard to start when its cold, have to hold the key for about 3-4 secounds before it fires up, but well started i runs perfect. Doesent seems like the map is lean , just refind.
