22 wheels is alot,,, but im sure you knew that they had a manufacture problem!
Slide wear has always been a problem on yamahas.. i carry and extra set with me when i go on trips!
Drive shaft bearings are also a problem on yamahas because they are not greasable..
Most guys change there drive shaft bearings every 3000 miles..
You should be happy you got so many miles on your sled,,, Hell i only rode 2200 miles and thats pretty good for me..LOL

In conclusion,
It has been 5 years that I'm doing snowmobiling, Me and the friends are averaging between 4000 and 6000 very year.
"After i changed the same wheel for the 2nd time i would be looking at a completely different wheel. companies like shadetree and a few others guarantee them for life"
Thank you for the info. The day that Yamaha will stop supply me with wheels I should will go that route. But so far my dealer replace them with no fuss.
"What's the deal with the drive shaft and the exhaust. Can you explain some? "
The exhaust give up around 5500 miles. One of the lip broke off. Unknow cause!
The drive shaft broke clean right at edge of the bearing on the chaincase side. Nothing else was touch.
"I am assuming that if you blew out as many wheels as you did. put on as many miles as you did and overheated the hyfax & stuck the hyfax to the track
a few times. all that combined with almost 7000 miles caused the track to go"
Yes that he also my assumption. I'm now with a full open 1" track with all clips.
Ok now as MrSled said this is not a complain post. PM me if you want more info.
Good day!

I am regretting a little on getting the Vector GT and not the Nytro, just because of rider forward. I'm definetly regretting buying the Vector GT, and not waiting until 07...I think I would've liked the Rage GT better. But overall, I'm extremely satisfied, it's a much better sled than my 05 Vector ER.

No regrets here,my 06 attak/apexer was flawless, except for there junk ripsaw tracks, thats the only problem i had,and that was when it was stretched to 136,now that its where it should of been from day one 121 i think everything will be ok,as i only got like 350 miles on sense it is now a 121 tracked sled, all i can now say is AWSOME,hell i never even pulled the dipstick once last year on the engine oil,no smoke no oil usage, and on the pin for all 2300 miles on that sled, and 1500 on the rtx all with out any oil usage, and all run wfo all winter. Oh did i mention we all broke them in hard, first 20 miles to the pin for 10-15 sec. blasts than cool down, and back on the pin again until that first 20 miles ring break in was over, than on off throttle blasts for the first 100 miles, than just run it normal wfo all the time,oh ya all three of our sleds have run from 114-118 gps readings, and mine was getting to be the fastest at the end of the year, now as a short track,we ran it 110 gps down a sloppy rr bed,not bad at all. Overallgo200mph said:Does anyone regret purchasing from the new model line up in 2006. Being the first to run each model sled and in turn be the first to find the problems. Over all was it worth it?
